Discovering new Physics with the SM Higgs field

A new search for heavy vector resonances in the H->bb and Z->bb final state in association with a leptonically decaying V is proposed. It is argued that excesses with respect to the SM prediction should be observed in all final states, with the 1-lepton final state being the strongest. The search is an example of a range of similar Higgs-based searches for early observation of BSM signals.

I will also briefly touch on the progress in setting up a Si-module assembly facility (an AS, NTU, NCU, NTHU collaboration), for building detectors that will improve Higgs measurements.
